You have to think the Rams will go into next season with three qbs. So who will the starter be and who will be the backups?

Let us debate....:suds:

Hill.. maybe a FA if one looks good.

I hope they don't waste a pick on a QB like this year. Don't remember his name.

Why shouldn't the Rams try to groom a Qb for the future?

Because I would rather use that 1st and 2nd rd pick to make our Oline really dominating like Dallas did. and make our LB crew really solid. Just not real crazy with the QB's coming out. If it doesn't work out with Sam we won't have his contract in 16 and can go all in on a QB. With a solid draft this year our team will be good enough to give up some picks to get who we want in 16.

I can agree to some degree with that

I agree with you as far as not drafting a QB in the early rounds, but I would still like to luck out finding a decent one in the later rounds. If Bradford is our starting QB next year, which I hope he's not, and he gets hurt, we will be right around a .500 team again next year and we won't be drafting high enough to get one of the top QB's next year either! If we get lucky with a late round QB this year or DAVIS actually gets a decent chance to start then we won't have to draft one in 2016 either.

If we're lucky... it'll be: Bradford vs. a legit rookie draftee vs. Hill/Davis (whoever keeps their job) battling it out for the starting gig in training camp next summer.

My guess is that we have Austin Davis and a QB drafted duking it out next year.

There is always Garrett Gilbert who will get an invite to come to camp as well. I think we will see Hundley or Price as our pick at QB this year.

Because of the money, the Rams will go with Bradford, then Davis and a rookie will battle for #2.

Anyone who is skeptical of this QB draft class coming in is who is smoking the good stuff.

Bradford, Brett Hundley or Bryce Petty,Case Keenum... those will be our 3 QB's going into camp.

SJ, the problem is the Rams are playing themselves out of the top 2 or maybe even 3. They could very well end up 8-8 and picking in the mid teens, which means no Mariota or Winston. Not sure any of the others are ready to step right in and contribute, so Bradford may be back (on a cheaper deal) to at least bridge that gap. I would assume Davis would be in the mix as well.

If Fisher has been loathe to start Davis after his yips, I don't know that he's going to switch immediately to a rookie QB for similar reasons. If there is an OC change, that could push that issue even more.

I think everyone makes a good argument with their opinions. Personally I think we bring Samantha back on a lesser deal with incentives attached to it. We probably dump Davis, keep Hill and Draft a QB in the 3rd round.

Personally I would rather pick up a QB in the 3rd round. I think the Rams have an awful tract record when it comes to drafting QB's. I don't think Snisher is up to that challenge. I've noticed they do better when they don't out-think themselves. In other words DONT REACH!

We might have to dump a couple of players like Pead etc to make room for a 3rd QB on the roster. Someone we can groom for at least 6 to 8 games. If Sam or Hill falter.

Hill is beginning to connect with Cook. They seem to work well together. I picked some other guy because I think the Rams can do better than Hill and Davis but we still have three games left and if Hill keeps winning I may change my mind. :noidea:

We do not want Hill as our starting QB next year, he can't throw the deep ball, I would rather have Bradford start, and I really don't want to see that either because I don't think he will ever make it through a whole season again. I don't know what the answer is, but it's not those two, not crazy about the FA's out there either
