Please confirm! PLEASE!

This kid was drafted by the Redskins in the draft this year I thought? He was another Safety some of us wanted late in the draft. Shamarko was my guy, but this guy will do. Shit why not?

Yeah it's official. Was in the STL today and if you go to transactions on CBS/Rams it shows we sign him and a WR.

He had the same shuttle time as TJ McDonald and a better Cone drill time barely than TJ.

Interesting

I think we are all more concerned with the binary 10 that actually have to start. You have to assume that McDonald is expected to start, right?

Check this out: I didn't know Cody David was a burner.

03/08/2013 - 2013 Texas Tech Pro Day: Cody Davis, safety (6-1 7/8, 203) - Davis ran the 40 in 4.42 and 4.41 seconds. He had a 41 1/2-inch vertical and 10-foot-3 broad jump. His short shuttle time was 4.00 seconds and he had a 6.78-second three-cone drill. He had 15 lifts on the bench press.

That's fast boys.

Agreed SJ. They have some real studs back there all away across the field. I just hope we will be able to keep them all. With Jenkins, Finnegan and now McDonald, Hall, and Davis, along with the rest of the D, we have one helluva of D. Could this be the reincarnation of the '85 Bears D whom Jeff Fisher was a member??? I hope so.

So Daren Bates and RAY RAY Armstrong are on the roster as LB's, but were both SS in college. Hmmmm

Retro, If we have the GSOT2 and the 85 Bears D reincarnated... Then we are either dreaming or in heaven.

Funny you mentioned the 85 Bears. Growing up as a kid in IL, my uncle was a big Bears fan and of course at 6 years old I was a Walter Payton fan. I found a picture of the 85 Bears / Pats Super bowl taken from the end zone by my uncle at that game last night in an old box. I was a Xmas gift in 86 I Believe.

Going in my office along with my country club pic + course record 63 on a scorecard, alnog with my 2004 NLCS game 2 ticket signed "Albert Pujols NLCS MVP". Office is looking on the up.

I still like McDonald and Davis as starters.
I do, as well. There might be some growing pains but there is definitely a youth movement going on at that position and Darian Stewart isn't disciplined enough in his tackling.

Both are possible SJ and we will be indeed in heaven because we won't be dreaming. Clayton I concur. The vets like Giordano, Witherspoon, and Stewart are here mostly to be locker room mentors. Witherspoon make see playing time at LB and I don't see Bates making it past the second cut down. Ray Ray is going to make this team as a LB and Stewart may very well end up as back-up which spells doom for guys like McCloud.

:nod:Little story about the 85 Bears. Rams-Bears NFC Championship game January 12th, 1986. 2:00am, I am in the delivery room with my wife while my only kid is born, checked out if he had all his parts, listened to my wife complain about child birth and what I put her through and after a few minutes said see you later this afternoon. My wife looked at me and said in a puzzled look, "what do you mean later afternoon"? I said "after the Rams and Bears game". She said you had better get the priorities right and I said. "I already do". True story. Best day is having the boy, worst day the Bears crushed the Rams. Oh well.

I love the story Blue!! Lol!! I remember that game like it was yesterday with Dieter Brock at QB and David Hill at TE. We just could not get Eric Dickerson past the line of scrimmage all day. If we could have cracked him just once, that game would have been entirely different. The 46 was like the modern-day 8 men in the box defense. Ernie Zampese was the O-coordinator and he just never figured it out.

I kept yelling double TE and overload one side and then quick pitch it Dickerson, gone. But noooo. He kept trying dives and 2 and 3 hole runs that were stupid and not once did he go deep to loosen that D up. That killed us.
