A couple of glaring problems on defense that require attention. Number one: this defense misses Hager. He has quietly played very well and he makes Littleton better just being in there. Go figure. Two: Marcus Peters should not be given an extension. We should start rotating in Long and other young Corners because the league has discovered that thug boy can routinely get beat especially on the long ball. Talib also is done. His age has caught up with his play and it is time to move him into the coaching realm. Third: The Rans also miss Taylor Rapp. When he gets healed-up get him in there asap. Lastly: Our D Line needs an infusion if youth. That is why the Franklin release was so stupid. Our D once again has become very beatable. Complacency has set in and we are not going win many games until this D starts getting disciplined and very aggressive.

Donald can’t get anything going being doubled and tripled all the time, and no one but Clay has stepped up.
Expected a lot more from Fowler, but he can seem to beat his guy one on one while Donald is occupying 3 lineman.

So was the reason Fowler had a huge game last week because his buddy came over from Jville to help? Or was because he was due and woke up? Or was it because his buddy came over and allowed more LBs to rush the QB?


I’m saying all of the above. But if he keeps that up, good Lord watching this D in the 2nd half could be fun.

Expect Brit Hager to be moved before the trade deadline on the 29th. He has gone from starter to non-activated healthy player riding the pines. He isn't even playing STs either. The Rams have gone with Reeder and Tavon Howard at ILB. The Rams will probably be looking for a depth O-lineman or a late round pick from a team that needs LB depth or STs help.

I also saw articles that indicate that Ramsey is not quite comfortable with Phillips' D yet but it should come. He self-evaluated his game against the Falcons as average. Geez, if that is average what will his game be like when he gets his groove back as he recently stated in a presser? Look out!!

At least for this game coming up, he'll get the full week to prepare instead of a partial week like it was against Atlanta.

Yes I saw that, Matthews will be back for revenge on December 8th in the coliseum.

Our secondary is playing way better because of Ramsey, Reeder, Littleton, Rapp, Weddle and even Hill. Ebukam is such a poor tackler that the Rams can't wait for Matthews to return this week.

The Rams re-signed Dakota Allen to the PS after he was cut on Monday by Jon Gruden and the Raiders. Welcome back dude!

Ebukam needs to be shown the door as well, i hate to see LB's arm tackle and try to "hit" a guy instead of tackle.

That may happen after the season because when Matthews returns from his broken jaw, Ebukam will be doing some sitting. If you look at all the recent players we moved, guys like Jenkins, Quinn, Tru, and Olgletree, aside from maybe Quinn, none of them have been that great of players elsewhere. We have players like that for whatever reason have reached the pinnacle of their potential which is average and they aren't going to get any better. Allen. Blythe, and Ebukam fall into that categorization right now.

Littleton gets it and he just continues to play at a high level. He also hangs-out with AD off the field.

Very disappointed in the Defense yesterday...

They gave up 10 points and only scored 9, and only scored 2 points in the second half!

With the offense giving up more than twice as many points as they scored, we need more scoring from Wade's overrated Defense!

I was saying the Rams were a top 10 defense all offseason, we get rid of both our corners, have our leading sacker out for four weeks not to mention other various injuries and still give up the fewest big plays and it's not close

The D is now playing more like a cohesive unit than ever. We need to get pressure on the QB because Jackson is coming to town but I like what I am seeing from LBs and the secondary going into Monday night.
