Another situation that is developing is what McVay is going to do with the 5 TE's he presently has on the roster. Mundt is going to handle FB duties. Higbee and Everett are shoe-ins for now, but Blanton and the newbie Hopkins are playing quite well. Somebody(ies) is/are going to end-up on the practice squad. Apparently the jumbo is going to require the Rams keeping on 5 of them.

In other news, Travin Howard goes down with a knee injury and Kenny Young moves into the spot which is a starting spot at inside LB.

With Darrell Hendeson nursing a bad Hammie, Xavier Jones and John Kelly now will see playing time as well as a strong possibility of being on the active roster.

And it looks like the experiment with keeping Allen around at Center is finally going to end. With Blythe securing that position and the great play of the rook Cabral, Allen's days as a Ram are just about done.

Also, Anchrum is playing so well at guard that he is pushing both Corbett and Noteboom to play their very best. Noteboom is looking very good at LG and Corbett is doing very well at RG to the point that Edwards may go to back-up status next to Anchrum. If Havenstein screws-up, he may be out the door with Allen.

Out of all the players across all sports, there has only been one player who has asked the admins of that sport to find a way to have the fans in the stands. That player was and is Aaron Donald. Roger Penske wanted to bring in the fans but changed his mind.

The Rams had some interest in Leonard Fournette enough to try to trade for the RB. Now they can bring him for free because the Jags released him outright.

Leonard Fournette went unclaimed on waivers, officially making him a free agent.
Teams are surely interested in Fournette, but not at his previously-scheduled $4.167 million salary. Fournette could fetch somewhere in the neighborhood of $2-$2.5 million as a backfield fortifier. Obvious suitors have yet to emerge, though the Rams have said they are not interested. Fournette should not be on the open market longer than 48 hours.

A. Kamara in the last year of his rook contract is holding-out until a new or extension contract is done. He also has let it be known he'll accept a trade. Now here is a grand opp to fix the RB situation. Trade Malcolm Brown and Henderson who has done little, throw in X. Jones and one of our O-lineman for Kamara and then sign Fournette to a smaller contract since he is a FA now. Imagine a backfield of Akers, Kamara, and Fournette with John Kelly as back-up!!

McVay stated today that Terrell Lewis has yet another knee injury sustained in the second scrimmage at So-Fi stadium. The severity is unknown. Looks like Lewis' inability to stay healthy at Alabama has followed him to the Rams. Not a very good start to this potential rising star in the NFL.

some guys just never shake the injury bug. Looks like he is one of them.
