at 1.1? He'll be part of a committee for at least this season. Edwards-Helaire at #1.

Aaron Donald gets it about this Covid bullshit and playing profession sports.
Aaron Donald says 'we won't be having any football' if players don't do their part
He'd probably have to add a lot of new plays in the playbook if he does end up as the QB because Perkins doesn't really throw deep down the field much and his first instinct when there's any amount of pressure is to run... even if that's 20 yards behind the LOS.
Him throwing over 20 yards was usually a crapshoot. I saw a lot of wounded ducks from him in his two years at Virginia. He’s also going to have to learn to hold onto the ball better because when he’s running, the ball would be very easy for a defender to pop out.In McVay's offense. he'll have to learn to throw the deep ball with success if he is going to supplant Wolford. The speed Perkins has is his ace card which he obviously played too much in college. He'll learn and if he gets better, which I think he will, we could have ourselves a Russell Wilson 2.0.
I wouldn’t be opposed to him being on the practice squad to maybe just try to absorb as much info as he can. If that’s the case, hopefully the offense clicks for him and he’ll be ready to step in if need be.Indeed UVA. If he falters at all during training camp, then the prognostication by the Bleacher report will be chalked-up as nonsense and he'll be ushered out the door.
