We have Donnal, Battle, and the youngster Swindle that I'd take over this also-ran whining because he wants that paycheck. Geez!

I'm thinking that he's willing to take a minimum contract to prove he's healthy and if he stays healthy and plays well, some team will pay him the big bucks again next season.

Dallas and the Colts have the most interest. The Colts are looking for a back-up to Luck. Dallas is more talk than action at this point. Bottom line is Foles isn't going to be around too much longer.

I was told by a work colleague that Fisher has signed Mike Singletary as a LB "consultant". Haven't had the time to verify but if it is true. Wow! Now they are bringing in a guy with some hutzpah and a winning attitude. If it is true, our D just got even better!

yes it is true :suds:

Rams turn to Singletary to help with defense
On another note...Does Singletary rhyme with Dysentery? That commercial always cracked me up...

Singletary will probably be working with Gregg Williams but wouldn't this be major irony, if Fisher is fired and is replaced by Singletary?

Well, he's sort of been there before!

Fisher was in the Bears camp as a defensive back and punt returner for the 85' Bears however suffered an ankle injury in camp and his playing career was over.

A couple of seasons earlier, Fish broke his leg returning a punt for the 83' Bears.
(Actually it was Bill Cower and two other Eagles' special teamers who broke Fishers leg.)

Fisher spent the rest of the 83' season learning how to call the defense from the late great Buddy Ryan (RIP) and later returned to play all 16 games for the 84' Bears at CB and ST's.

Fish ended the 85' season following Buddy to Philly as the Eagles Defensive Back's coach.

Once again Fisher sooooo close to getting that SB ring!

I was a wee lad in Illinois then. 8-9 years old but I would even take the '84 Bears D and Walter Payton all day.

Another example of a great team with no stud QB. Even tho I liked Jimmy Mac!

I was 11 in '85 and the memories of that NFC Championship game still haunt me to this day...What can you do? :suds:
