Was that before or after he had them, after they would be worth some cash!

Obviously I got them because they were Jordans. I was in the 3rd or 4th grade I think. Those were the days.

Favre is a no brainer inductee, I think that Pace and Warner will go in as well. There's some guys I'm not sure about on the list that had really good careers but not sure if they are HoF worthy. I don't see Terrell Davis ever making it, just because he was great for a few years but injuries caught up to him and forced him out of the league shortly after those two Denver Super Bowl wins.

Terrell Davis was a beast for a few years. One could say the same about Kurt Warner as well. :suds:

2 guys that were really good for a few years indeed.

Warner stuck around a while long and took a lot more shots to the dome at the dome. I'll give him the nod over Terrell. :thumb:

Just got a text from ESPN that said that Lawrence Phillips was found dead in his prison cell. He was 40.

Lawrence Phillips, the former Nebraska football star who was facing a murder charge, was found dead Wednesday morning in his California prison.
Authorities at Kern Valley State Prison said they are investigating the death as a suspected suicide.
The prison staff was conducting security checks shortly after midnight local time Wednesday when they found Phillips, 40, unresponsive in his cell, according to a release from the prison. Phillips was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 90 minutes late.
Phillips was on trial for the alleged murder of his former cellmate at the prison. If convicted, he could have faced the death penalty.
He has been in prison since October 2008, where he was serving a 31-year sentence on various charges including inflicting bodily harm including domestic violence, corporal injury to a spouse, false imprisonment and vehicle theft.
Phillips played running back for Nebraska in the 1990s before a brief stint in the NFL. His pro career was cut short by a series of off-field incidents and legal issues.

Former 1st round draft pick :L That dude was out of control and just kept on getting worse not better. He finally killed someone and then ended up taking his own life! Wow just wow! The kid probably just need a mentor growing up! Mental health should be a real concern in this country. I wonder what's going through Dick Vermeils mind right now?

I bet it was something like this zeke: "What a sad story for Phillips. I tried, I really tried. Man did I bite the hog in the ass on that draft selection."

tbh if Kurt would have won his 2nd superbowl with the cards he would have been a lock

That is an old saying right out of Pennsylvania Zeke. Surely you've heard that one!

Funny as it seems, but that sounds exactly like something DV would say!

Crazy Lawrence Phillips died on the same day the Rams announced their move. He was one of the early STL Rams back with Tony Banks. Man those were some bad teams.

he does move faster then he who shall not be named and has a connection with a certain poster on the forum

So where does hewhoshallnotbenamed end up now? Philly is likely to go conservative with Pederson (his INT rate may not be appreciated). Cleveland maybe, since Manziel will most likely be out? They did supposedly show interest in trading for him at one time.
