Same reason we wasted a 2nd Rounder on the Little Turd, 2.0. The obsession with speed I suppose. McDumbshits got a stiffy for 2.0 the same way the Drama Queen went after The Little Turd 1.0. The Second will be a bust just like the first one was/is.
I just looked at that draft. We could’ve stayed in our original spot and gotten Hopkins. :gaah:

Yep

Saw that years ago when going through old draft history.

Also traded up the wrong year for a QB when the following year was so much better.

But at least they bailed the Donald pick. Too bad they didn’t draft Mack as well and took the bust Robinson.

Could you imagine Donald and Mack together for 4-5 years?

I don't know when McShit-fer-Brains are going to get past their obsession with smallish RBs and WRs, but I have had just about had enough of these two knuckleheads by-passing big runner after big runner to wait to take another smallish-injury-prone running back.

at the end of the day, i've come to the conclusion that football is a business 1st. I can't fault guys for wanting more money when ownership is raking in billions. I get it, there careers are 1 play away from being cut short so get as much as you can when you can. On the flip side, as fans we get tired of the shit because we want longevity and more chips. Players say they want to run it back, but in reality they are just saying what they think we want to hear. They don't want to run it back because what that will take is sacrifice, taking less so the next guy who's a valuable cog can eat too, but these guys are too selfish to do that. So then when the team gives in, gives them that extra 5 mil they want and the season ends in disappointment because you no longer have what it takes to get over the top, they still aren't satisfied "oh i want to win so bad!!" If you really wanted to win, take the mils you get, shut the fuck up and allow the FO to make the moves to run it back. This game generates so much revenue that players want their cutt when they want it. It's always damned if you do, damned if you don't. If AD wants to bitch and complain about money, at this point send his ass up the road, free up some money and sign some guys willing to lock in and not make it about them selves. Tom won 7 chips taking less, but still was a millionaire at the end of the day.

A component of AD's bitching is the fact that J.T. Watt makes more money and he is at the end of his career. So AD being the Number 1 DT in the league figures he deserves at least as much as Watt. So, I agree with you Jermaine. Learn the freaking Tommy lesson or the Rams should let him retire or trade his ass for draft capital and re-tool. We need another younger version and may be it is time to move along. Looks like Beckham may have learned that lesson the hard way but apparently AD hasn't. Geez, AD just bought a $17 million mansion in LA, so what is he belly-aching about?

These guys gotta understand that each year the market resets at the position. If this year you resign for 4 yrs 130 mil, then the next guy is gonna want 140 so at that point YOU are no longer the highest paid player. If he was at the end of the contract i can understand maybe, but being half way into it; that part is unacceptable to me. You signed the fucking contract!! If you didn't like it tell your agent to put a clause in that you get the option to re-up after year 3 or whatever the case may be. Maybe a wise thing to do would be for him to look for off the field endorsements of some sort.

My question is, even if he is improved, how does he even see the field much?

They already have Kupp, Robinson and Jefferson. He’s not starting over those guys.

Skowronek knows the offense better than Atwell and is likely the #4 WR at this point. So, that puts Atwell at #5 at best. And that’s assuming the Rams don’t sign OBJ, who will be healthy come November.

Not going to see much PT as the #5 WR unless some serious injuries happen.

It will take a bunch of compounding evidence to get Shit-fer-Brains to admit that he and Snead effed-up by wasting a Round 2 pick on this waste of a player.

Atwell and Skow couldn't be more different, would be used in very different play calls. Atwell hopefully can at least contribute on returns, but who knows.

And I wonder why they couldn't afford Von Miller!
That’s what happens when guys get greedy.

You lose better players that helped you succeed because they can’t pay everyone, and Donald wanted his $$ more than he wanted Miller back with the team to “run it back”.

Donald is going to find out the hard way he can’t do it on his own. I would’ve thought he figured that out having lost in the playoffs and SB previously.

He no longer has a stud DE to take attention away from him. Teams don’t fear Floyd like they did Miller.

Somebody named "Jack Reynolds" posted this response in the response section of recent article on RamblinFan about the ugly Rams unis (AGAIN!). This post stated:

The Rams current uniforms were disliked from the beginning. Now the organization has produced the team photo that omits them completely. This in a Super Bowl winning year. It is nearly impossible to contact the team so someone out there with access can possibly make an inquiry? Will we get throwbacks permanently? We can only hope.

I totally concur!!

Well, the dumbasses in the media seem to have ignored the fact that Beckham is still rehabbing a surgically repaired knee and is not due back for some time at least well into the regular season. November was the last date I saw. Why would the Rams rush-out and sign a guy who isn't going to be available for at least the first half of the season and no other team is going to rush-out and sign him either. If they do, they are getting a WR that can't play for at least half the season. So all of this media hype is just for people who want to keep their jobs with sensationalism.

Looks like the Rams are bringing in Julian Diaz (strong legged punter from this eyar's draft that didn't get drafted) for a third punter position competition because the Dicker/Dixon competition apparently isn't making recently-married Shit-fer-Brains all warm and fuzzy about his punter problem.
