Beckham doesn't need to be signed immediately because he is rehabbing the surgically repaired knee. Most of the reporting around Beckham is a lot of hype at this point. He'll re-sign soon enough and the Rams will make room for him but as Kupp can attest to, ya don't rush these things.

They can’t afford him, and they should’ve give away valuable draft picks to have the Bears pay most of his salary.

It’s just not worth it long-term.

Just look at Von Miller. Yes, the Rams won the SB, but they also lost out on 4 years of 2 rookie contracts for a half season rental.

It was a steep price to pay regardless of the Lombardi.
