Yea we heard this same "hope" positive rhetoric with Jake Long, Kenny Britt, Nick Fairley, Jared Cook, and a littany of FAs that were supposed to come in and change the attitude of a bad team all the while the coaching and FO problems continue to get ignored. Granted many of the FAs didn't have a ring like Welker but I have grown weary of the excuses year-in and year-out.

Well Stedman Baily is out, so we needed a possession receiver on the roster and Welker was available.

And even though Wes doesn't have the SB ring yet, none of those FA's were 5X Pro Bowlers.

Bottom line, he has 4 weeks to make an impact. If he doesn't he may get cut when Baily is availabe.

I never said he was an elite QB. he has a Elite arm strength and can make any throw on the field. That's what you don't get. Davis can't, Foles Can't. That's why he is a starter in this league. And yes someone will offer him a lot more money than Austin Davis. He has been on some terrible Rams teams with no talent and has had the crap knocked out of him. But for all of you who always questioned Sam's toughness... He lasted years here getting abused, Foles is shellshocked after eight games. Don't think for a second Fisher and Sneed don't wish they still had Bradford.

That's why Fisher said this...

He could be, but this could be a last ditch effort by inserting Case into the starter role. If Nick can see Case getting it done than Foles may get some of that competitive juices following instead of playing scared and not looking down field.
