Well they cut half the team instead lol.
Snead may have his eyes on a few URFA's on the cheap or a few UDFA's coming out, just to get the roster to 90.

Maybe he finds a gem in the process?

The only way the Rams spend that much on those two is if they play well enough to earn it and stay on the roster.
And I can live with that because if they did, as long as our defense is decent, it would mean we are winning. Not only that, but that means Goff or whoever ends up behind center is doing really well, and TG & Tavon, if used that way, will have a lot more running room too!

Can you imagine?

No, if they only earn the contract minimums than these two signings are failures. I really hope to see them earn every dime, because if they do, we will win this Division once again!!

Groy received the lowest restricted free agent tender from the Bills, which would pay him $1.797 million on a one-year contract. Another team can offer Groy a contract, which the Bills would have the right to match. Because he was undrafted, the Bills wouldn't be entitled to any compensation if they elected not to do so.

Center: Ryan Groy, Buffalo Bills, 84.6

The Bills shredded the Dolphins on the ground Saturday and Groy played a key role in that. Bills backs had nine carries through the A-gaps, gaining 62 yards at 6.9 yards per attempt.

I wonder what it would take to get the deal done?

Not sure how that works, can we just keep upping the offer if they match, or is that a one time shot?

Pretty sure we would make an offer then they can match it if they want. Its a one shot deal I believe.

It's been so long since we've had a quality center, we should do what we have to in order to get the deal done...

You want to know why the Pats have stayed good for so long ( outside of the cheating )?

Because teams continue to trade them relevant players for peanuts. Why do teams make trades like these to the Pats? You don't see them making stupid trades like this with other teams.

The got Early from the Panthers by giving up their 2nd for the Panthers 3rd. The swap cost the Pats a whopping 8 spots.

Then, they get one of the fastest young WR's in the league who they control for the next two years for a measly 9.5M and it only cost them the equivalent of the 29th overall pick when all the picks are factored in.

That's just ridiculous. Let's just help the rich team get richer for pennies on the dollar.

Here is another winner with a ring that we didn't even bother with and Green Bay snatched him up. I just don't get the people in control that miss player after player that could really change the losing ways of the Rams. I guess we are going with Harkey and Higbee.

Groy is another player that could really solidify the O-line and his coach is now with the Rams. 10-to-1 we will do little to nothing and somebody else will sign him. Probably the Patriots. I guess we are going with Rhaney and a draftee.

Yep, ALR. Ya beat me to it. I was just going to mention the savvy deals NE has put together in days 1 and 2 of FA and we do what? They get a deep threat, they recoup a third rounder... ...it makes one sick just reading how they get even better with activity like this and all we are doing is spending money and HOPING!

Patriots add Brandin Cooks to Tom Brady's arsenal, trade first-round pick to Saints

and they will probably get the Browns to way overpay for JG and get some serious picks.

Now this is how you build a winner. Elway is at again and got both of these players relatively cheap.

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/elway-once-again-fixes-offensive-line-004249682--nfl.html

BTW, Alshon Jeffrey signed or is going to sign with the Eagles. Another guy who would have been a better FA signee than this Woods character.
:fify: regarding the quality of talent....

But considering the price tag of AJ, and all our needs on the offensive line, linebacker corps, and defensive back end, we had to be frugal.
