Seems to me the direction is to protect Goff's blindside, move Robinson to guard to improve the run game, get Goff a young WR that catches the ball-which in turn reduces the number of dropped passes. Let McVay work his magic on the offensive end. If Woods becomes a low end #1 or better, then his contract is a steal. If he doesn't perform, we're only on the hook for $15 in guaranteed money over 5 years. That's chump change for a #2 WR.

With the additional cap space created by Kendricks, Barnes and Sims getting cut, plus Hayes being traded, we can make sure Donald, Ogletree and Gurley aren't going anywhere.

And we could still trade Johnson and create additional cap space + receive draft compensation. I'm liking the direction the FO is taking the team so far.

Kendricks release was bound to happen sooner or later. Same with Sims. These players were all Fisher types. Undisciplined losers in the long run. The coaching staff have obviously made evaluations and found the reasons we have been a losers for the last five years. They should keep going. GRob, Jamon Brown could be next.

Mangold would be a good short term addition. We could actually have a pretty good O Line next year, draft a Center for the future and let him learn for a year or 2.

Hey chy. Glad to see you are still hangin' around. Well, since we seem to be going with aging vets on the OLine, why not add The Mangold who is still out there? As the Rams go, that would probably be an immediate upgrade over that swiss-cheese Barnes. LOL! If the Rams are planning on putting Rhaney in as a Center or unless they are going to draft a center, we presently now have a hole at Center.

How much cap space do we need to keep to sign the rooks? I guess not having to sign a first rounder is the very, very, very, thin silver lining in that scenario this year.. LOL

Someone, maybe you, mentioned it was a decent draft for Center. Get a young guy and let him learn from Mangold for a year. We have what may be a pretty decent line for 2 years while Goff can grow without getting killed. Draft the LT of the future next year and let him learn under Whitmore. With a decent line, we will find out sooner than later if Goff is the real deal.

With Fisher anything stupid is possible.
Okay, if were going to do this, which of you still has the Fisher mask again?

What the McVay administration is doing is throwing out all the Fisher garbage and cleaning up the mess.
At least for now, there is an appearance that....

This is just plain nuts if it is true and it looks like it is. WE are allllll screwed up.

If reports true, Rams could have up to $80M invested in Robert Woods and Tavon Austin

We know Austin's deal is essentially voidable after this season. Has the structure of Woods' deal been announced? Only $15M is guaranteed, so probably the first two seasons. The only way the Rams spend that much on those two is if they play well enough to earn it and stay on the roster.
