Being reunited with Todd Gurley makes this a bit more interesting, but still this is a guy who fell behind Nick Foles, albeit Nick is a Andy Reid guy, so there is that too.

He looks like a camp arm

Funny how KC was trying to trade him prior to the legal tampering period. I guess they thought he could have some value.

Do you think Todd Gurley has anything to do with his signing?

My first thought too was camp arm but the TG connection and KC trying to trade him makes me wonder? We could carry three QB's too and we all know that we wont be signing Case, so there is that...

Retro

I understand your concern, but technically, every player is one play away from injury no matter what the age.

Frankly, I'm more concerned about Tavon this year than Whitworth because Austin will be making 15M

And I'm warming up to the Woods signing.

Although I still think the money is high, what have we been screaming for for the past several years? A WR that can catch the ball.

Woods does that. He was ranked 149th in drop rate last season.

Austin was 6th, Kendricks 8th, Britt 53rd, Higbee 89th, Gurley 111th.

The only Rams receiver better than Woods last season was Quick ( ranked 152nd ).

Woods catch % was 67%.

Austin was 54%, Kendricks was 57%, and Britt was 61%.

And Austin being a slot receiver at 54% is atrocious. He has some of the worst hands in the NFL.

WOW

Houston trades Osweiler, a 2nd and 6th round pick to Cleveland for a 4th round pick.

Can you say Ouch!

Great move for Cleveland, you got a second rounder to eat a contract for a year.

If my math is right the Rams have no more cap space? Releasing Barnes save 3m though. But we now need a Center.

Hayes wasn't going to fit in Phillips' D even though he is the prototypical squatty D-end. They probably got rid of him for the same reason Long was let go. Getting old and there are younger/bigger replacements. We lose a 7th and get another 6th. We have a gaggle of D-lineman and no LBs. McDonald is gone and Zuerlein will probably hang around and re-sign unless the brass have somebody in the draft in mind. I am not sure any of this makes any difference at this point. The rest of that list BattleLyon posted were pretty much crap players anyways and I am sooo glad we got rid of sieve Barnes. Good grief what a joke of player.
