Can you imagine that guy pulling something like that with the late Pat Burns in his prime?

His entrails would be strewn all over the ice.

Give Rad some credit, at least he's not injuring teammates during goal celebrations...

i actually don't think now he did that on purpose but he wanted to hit the glass behind him. he looks like after he gave a half hearted apology and the coach was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Heard on a tweet that Radulov may be able to come back to the Predators without having to pass through waivers.

per Dreger:

Paper work is being finalized, but NHLPA will agree to bypass waivers for Radulov IF he decides to return to the NHL.

Me likey David Poile. Nashville is already tough, this can only help them. The top of the West this year is going to be a fucking dogfight with Vancouver, Detroit, St. Louis and Nashville. Can't wait to watch that unfold in this years playoffs. Should be some damn good hockey.

Can Alex do his 'Rad jump' into Erat when he scores a goal? That guy is a Flames killer.

so what happens when he helps the Preds this year in the playoffs, and then jumps back to the KHL for the 3rd time?
frankly, I am surprised the NHL approved this (if it was a vote among the BOG). If it was a unilateral decision, then fuck you Bettman.

not a fan of allowing one team an advantage over its competitors (unless it's my team), especially when you have to specifically circumvent the rules that are in place in order to do it.

I'm not sure I follow what rule needs to be bent here in order for him to return to Nashville without having to clear waivers and what the intent of said rule would be. Do they not still own his NHL rights and does he not still owe them 1 year on his contract? The Preds didn't cut him or try to send him down. He walked out on them. So why should they be penalized for it? In my opinion, if he wants to come back to the NHL it should have to be to the Preds or to a team they trade him to.

^^That. The Preds shouldn't be punished for this. If anything Radulov should have to pay some fine or something.

ENDS whining!. I was there, up there with podium shouting obscenities Sasha!! He was furious! Finn coach just behind the shadow of Hamlet's father loomed, Sanya has not seen it, and probably, and if they saw it simply is not calculated to beat! but the blow was in the glass, to the goats, who were sitting behind.

this is one of the translated comments from this youtube video. wtf?!?

the way it was described, the NHL and NHLPA had to agree to circumvent some rule to have Radulov avoid waivers. I don't know details on the specific rule, or if it is any different than when any other player comes to the league after the deadline (because it was Radulov's decision to leave initially)

and radulov is actually getting a bit of a bonus over this situation too - if he shows up for the last few games, it burns off the entire year of the contract he owes NSH, and then he is RFA in the summer.

Radulov wants to leave for Nashville right now. The KHL club hasn't granted their permission (via @plysenkov and Rads agent)
