I think re: Marner, even if he isn't the massive problem he's made out to be it's probably in everyone's interest if he moves on this summer. If he tried to wield his NMC on any deal threaten to third line him with Reaves and Kampf and he should change his mind pretty quickly.

These calls make no sense anymore - I’ve seen at least three calls this year with conclusive video evidence of the puck over the line called no goals and this stands. I mean I’m pretty sure it’s a goal but still.

ESPN has Dave Jackson on as rules analyst and just as he's saying that as soon as the glove closes on the puck (which it did outside the net) then it's a dead play, the on ice ref is pointing at center ice. There is no way on earth they saw the puck inside the glove fully across the line.
