Why didn't the spotters remove Draisaitl from the game, he cracked his head pretty hard on the ice.

Holy interference right there on the Kings player, of course no call.

You're seriously gonna stand there looking at a goalie with no helmet and only blow it down 3 seconds later when a guy tees up?

It's just amazing to me how this game's officiating turned on its head as soon as the Kings took a 2-1 lead. Oh look, another Kings penalty lol

Edmonton called their own power play. Ref wasn't reacting until the Oilers player told him to.

Welp.

I'm out, the officiating gifted this win and the series to the Oilers.

I just turned the game back on and I see five Kings skaters and a goalie in the ice at the same time. What’s up with that?

If you’re an NHL fan for the whole Bettman era, then you do deserve this. A giant shit sandwich. Also Walsh must have a couple of Kings players as clients.

Also I hear the Kings got whistled for an unsportsmanlike penalty in the handshake line so the Oilers get to start game one against the Canucks on the power play.

Kings have their own dragon to slay

Problem is, every time they get near him, they get a penalty.

I saw many times where a Kings player had him or McJesus lined up and didn't finish the hit. That affects the game.

I'll just say this, the Oilers likely come back and win the game last night, it's pretty evident that they are a better team than LA. However, it cheats everyone watching when the officials gift them powerplay after powerplay after powerplay. That embellishment call on Fiala was egregious, LA would have had a 5-on-3 for close to a minute if I recall correctly and maybe make it 3-1. Instead, the zebras hand the Oil multiple lifelines and I guess to their credit capitalize on the PP.

That was Tim Peel level of incompetence last night and both of those officials should be done as far as officiating in the NHL is concerned.

Saw a stat that the Oil were 9 for 20 on the power play and two more scored within 30 seconds of a power play ending in the series. For an effective 11 for 20.

No wonder they dive and whine to get calls constantly. It's the primary way they can score.
