Kings got all the bounces and puck luck. They have no skill
Kopitar goal was an unlucky carrom.

This sounds like it came straight out of the Oilers dressing room in the post-game scrum.

How do the Oilers dominate the Canucks so easy but not the kings with their trap system

Watching last night it seemed the Kings were absolutely preoccupied with Evander Kane and trying to get under his skin.

Meanwhile the rest of the Oilers took that opportunity to absolutely piledrive them on home ice.

I have no idea what the Kings are doing but barring a Skinner shit show this one isn’t going to last much longer unless they smarten up.

Side note; how did LA make the playoffs with Copley, Talbot and Rittich as their goalies?

Giving up 1 to the Oilers and holding them to only 13 shots should get you the win. Granted the Kings offense is MIA but have to give credit to the Oilers actually playing defense when they needed to.

No you don't really lol

/I kid, but on a more serious note, the Kings really took a step back with the trade for PLD, his contract might be worse than Huby's

Every trade PLD has been part of, the team that received him has lost the deal. Well take that back the Jets won out in the end getting all those assets from the Kings for him.

These playoffs have been the best argument I can find against expansion or increased playoff size. Pretty big gulf between good and bad so far.

Yeah, although you know Bettman's blueprint is following the NBA as well as the whims of the owners and they see those extra home games and revenue and I truly think we're going to see play-in games. I hope it doesn't happen, but I think it's inevitable.
