I don't think McDavid will win the Hart this year, but if you take him off the Oilers, Edmonton doesn't make the playoffs and quite frankly would likely be in the draft lottery every damn year lol.

I don't think he deserved the Hart but Kucherov getting the nom over Matthews sure is funny.

I do wonder how the obvious push by Matthews at the end of the season to try and get to 70 played among voters who would definitely discard the rest of the goals over that run. Might have gotten a little more respect with 67 and then resting for the games that actually mattered.

Goes to show you that players are good players but that doesn't make them good at analyzing the game. MCDavid is without a doubt one of the top 3 players this year. And every year for the last 4 or so.

I think the Canucks take this series in 6 FWIW.
