Hu, I've been to Rutgers' campus my sophomore year. I knew sophomores at Rutgers. I've gotten plastered at parties with Rutgers sophomores. Senator, that's no Rutgers sophomore beer list.

Looks more like some Montclair or TCNJ bullshit to me...

You may be right...there has to be some Klassie undergrads at THEEE State university of NJ

I wouldn't know...I guess they had a very liberal definition of premier. Ol Lady is the ski person in our family. She used to go to this place because it's close to the city, but said there are much better places in New England.

There are some decent places. I've always wanted to try Mad River Glen (not that it's "classy"). Stowe and Killington come to mind, but being from the mid-west, if I'm packing up to go skiing, I'm headed west. I can see where my position on that would be different if I lived further east.

Was at this ski lodge earlier today, went to the bar and this is what they offered:View attachment 198663

I don't buy any of them for at-home consumption, but off that list, without bitching, I'd drink:

Coors Light
Coors Banquet
Miller Light
Modelo
Pacifico
Blue Moon
Fat Tire
High Life
MGD

Blue Moon is good. So is Fat Tire. Fuck you guys.

They changed the recipe?
I don't know. Maybe the rest of the beer world surpassed it.

I remember it being a good beer, but I wouldn't give it a second look now. Every once in a while I will get it because it's, sadly, the best available beer sometimes when I'm traveling.

Sounds kinda snobby, bucks. It's fine. As I said, I wouldn't buy it for home, but I don't mind drinking it. Hell, I said above, I'll drink a Coors Light for fuck's sake.

I'm not into a lot of different beers. Most of what I buy for home is either from Great Lakes or Southern Tier.

Oh, shit. I said I never buy any of the beers on the list for home, which is untrue.

I buy Modelo and Pacifico for when I'm making Mexican.

Hell, I probably am a little snobby when it comes to beer.

I'm not exactly a beer snob anymore, but come on, man... About 3/4 of that list was redundant. And I'm not sure who on the staff is so enamored of malt liquor. I'm not a big ski-er so I don't know; maybe nothing replenishes electrolytes after a hard day on the slopes like Schlitz malt liquor or Old English, but I have my doubts.

I ordered the Sam Adams and was told "we're all out.". I think they just put it on there so they don't look completely like a bunch of drunken frat boys
Hurricane High Gravity was specifically engineered for the slopes, but that didn't even make their list.

Fat Tire was awesome before they massively increased production. Unfortunately I couldn't get it at home until it went way down in quality. I used to like blue moon but it's too sweet for me now.

You know, I felt the same way about those guys...when that beer came out I liked it a lot, but I got some recently and I didn't enjoy it at all. I don't know if they've changed their product or if my taste buds are just deteriorating. Probably one from Column A, and one from Column B

No, fuck YOU, Peter!

Mainly, I was pissed that they didn't serve Natty Daddies instead of MGD and Colt 45.

And again, I'm not too snobbish, if that's what you got that's what I drink. I just thought their list was too heavy on the American-style lagers and ML's, and a few of their canned offerings seemed really budget-conscious.
