I'm not exactly a beer snob anymore, but come on, man... About 3/4 of that list was redundant. And I'm not sure who on the staff is so enamored of malt liquor. I'm not a big ski-er so I don't know; maybe nothing replenishes electrolytes after a hard day on the slopes like Schlitz malt liquor or Old English, but I have my doubts.

I ordered the Sam Adams and was told "we're all out.". I think they just put it on there so they don't look completely like a bunch of drunken frat boys
I would've gone with the Sam Adams too. They were probably all out due to that being the selection of most people that gaze upon that list that aren't douchebags. At least the only option wasn't Big Hurt Beer.

Rake Breaker's probably the best one on the list, but it's still a pretty standard IPA. Jersey Girl has far better beers than that.

Schmidt’s will ring the bell for ya, Schmidt’s of Philadelphia.
Milwaukee Best = Old Milwaukee = toilet water.
I honestly can't remember if I've ever drank one or 12

Was at this ski lodge earlier today, went to the bar and this is what they offered:View attachment 198663

yikes!

Not sure what I'd go with.

Yuengling is the worst beer I've ever tasted. It's after taste reminds me of walking through my wife's mist of hairspray.

Prolly go with Shiner, or the Fat Tire, or Blue Moon.

Or maybe make a political statement and go with Keystone Light... lol.

Hard to say really...

Red White & Blue FTW!!!!

Oh, they don't have it...

I think a lot of distributors probably don't want to deal with ski lodges...totally seasonal business and most likely a long, windy, icy road to drive up for deliveries in the winter. I'd imagine some of them have to take whatever the fuck they can get.
Probably not an issue for Vail, Aspen, Deer Valley, etc.

At least they could get a "craft" beer from one of the big guys... If they're delivering keystone, they could deliver some Terrapin or something.

I went to this international store yesterday, and they had an amazing selection of brews-- including this one. It was in a gift box with a free set of glasses. I was almost tempted

yes!
I loved it !
There were giant storage tanks just off I94 on the south side of Chicago that were painted like Falstaff's cans....the brewery closed many decades ago, but the site was left intact and the paint took a long time to fade.

I also like Schlitz ... true story.

My parents would drink either Schlitz tall boys or Miller Lite when I was a pre-teen. Once my mom let me try a sip of her Miller...it was so bad I didn't drink beer for another 10 years.

About twice a year I would big my mom to let me try her Cold Duck as I figured it must taste good if she drank so much of it every night.
Guess it took me 6 months to forget how bad it tasted....
