But yeah, it was a waste. I have a feeling that the new gen consoles are going to be pissing people off.

No problem. The thread is in the Gamer Forum Xbox PS3 tips reviews talk so, unless you scrolled all the way to the bottom of the main page, you wouldn't have seen it. Just pointing it out.

I'm thinking about going strictly PC. From my experience it's better than the consoles, and I can upgrade my computer a pretty good bit with the cash I'd drop on one of these new systems.

No USB cable to charge the damn controller? I bet the guy checking me out, who didn't tell me I'd need another cable wants his fucking minimum wage raised. Controller is badass though.

Are you talking about when you bought a second controller? That pissed me off with the PS3 as well, new controller but didn't get a new cord to charge it. Same when I bought the PS3 bluetooth headset.

Luckily it is a standard mini (or is that a micro?) USB plug so I have a dozen of them from electronics over the years.

Yes it was the second controller and now that I'm thinking back it was the same with the 3. I remember with the 3 I didn't know you could unplug the controller so I spent the first two weeks playing 3 ft from the TV. There is a charge in this extra one so I'm gonna just see how long it will last and charge the one that came with it.

haha, that's funny about plugging it in. When I use the headset and it runs low I'll just plug it into my computer (at the back of the room where I sit to play) but the controller won't do that anymore. I loaded some software to allow the PS3 controller to work as a PC controller (never worked right BTW) and now when I plug it in the controller loses connection to the PS3. IF you haven't loaded anything like that, you could plug into a laptop or something and charge the controller from further away.

Or get a USB extension cord. :)
