most major sports do what whatever it takes to put fans in the seats, the NHL has to do a better job at protecting those players that do it!!!! i see gaborik was taken out first nite back from injury!

After the Schenn thing, I will be pissed to see one if our guys get suspended. Not that ill lose any sleep over rinaldo, but it will truly prove the double standard this is the NHL

At time of OP I could not find it. Now seeing it at first glance it did not look bad but on slow mo Rinaldos shoulder goes really high. Not sure I would call that targeting the head but Rinaldo is a bitch so he probably will see some time.

Not gonna change the broken collarbone though.

I don't think it was incredibly dirty, but it was completely unnecessary. Gaborik was already neutralized and off balance, Rinadlo had no reason to make the hit. I don't think Rinaldo aimed high, Gaborik was kind of bent over.

I would have enjoyed seeing someone beat the ever loving shit out of Rinaldo, but not sure how I feel about anything further. Gaborik, for the first time in a long time, went to the dirty area to make a play and paid the price.

The play that really pissed me off was when Gustafsson went for the knee and missed. He took the worst of it though.

I think all of the players should be protected equally.
