I felt that if NU were playing a more athletic opponent, there were a couple of passes in the game by (Martinez and Green ) that would have been picked off..One in particular would have been a pick 6..

Is the pick 6 pass that you are talking about the long out pass across the field to Niles with about 3 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter? I thought the same thing on that pass that if we were playing a more athletic team that might have been trouble.

On many of Taylor's passes; he didn't need touch. He needed to burn it in to the receivers bread box; which he did. Any 'touch' on the ball and it's swatted away or picked. Taylor's passing stats would have been much better if the receivers would have ran their route or caught the passes that they should. Watson should tell Taylor to never throw to Niles along the sideline as he has a 2/3 chance of dropping it. At least this year he actually went after the ball when he dropped it.

To add to that..It wasn't a bad throw, just not a smart throw..

Martinez is much better than Lee at throwing the short pass over the middle. Lee consistently threw behind or over the rcvrs.
It looks like an easy throw, but it's not..Things develop so quickly on that route and there is only a moment to get the ball there.

I don't recall that. I was more focused on what could have gone wrong on the out pattern..

I was at a friends watching it on PPV.
I wish I would have gotten it myself and DVR'd it so I could watch it again today.
Another friend of mine will burn it to DVD, but I won't get a copy til' Monday..

That could be. I didn't know he was there..

on another note maybe it was the section i was sitting in which im sure it was everyone was boring over there but was our crowed weak yesterday they tunnel walk was as electric as in previous years. Maybe it was just were i was.

Yeah..The tunnel walk on PPV seemed kind of routine. Nothing special..

as long as it just wasnt me thinking it was kinda dull kinda expected with this game though. Was I the only one pretty much booing when i saw zac lee 4th quarter or not Bo needs to give the team to either taylor or cody not mess with there emotions by benching them then putting them back in

I have no problem with Lee seeing playing time (as a third stringer) when the game is in hand.
I appreciate his contributions as the QB by default last season. He played well yesterday when his # was called.
