I don't care for the game but I still think it means something to be named (not as a replacement). That said, whoever put it together this year really fucked up. No Alfred Morris? No Richard Sherman? Five (FIVE) Kansas City Chiefs? Jeff Saturday, the same guy that just got benched? Matt Schaub?

I just read this earlier on Jamal Charles though and it's absolutely amazing what he's been able to do on such a shitty team. When you top Jim Brown, you've really accomplished something.

I don't think they should get rid of it, I think they should change 3 things though.

1) Make it an actual game and players take it serious. Make it a true All-Star game. I feel that those players who decline the invite would actually go to it and it would be the best All-Star game in any American-based professional sport by far. Keep the team celebrations and all, but make it be serious. Have a worthy award for whoever wins.

2) Have it in Hawaii or some place exotic. Some place the NFL players don't normally play in with great weather.

3) A week after the Super Bowl, like it used to be. That way, players that are in the Super Bowl can take it seriously.
