I see his controller disconnect is in mid-season form.

SO thankful they didn't gamble on his 5th yr option. If Brian Flores can't get more out of him then nobody can. He has another couple weeks to get right or he should be cut.I see his controller disconnect is in mid-season form.

He can't play a man scheme to save his life. He can't play OC and he can't play OG. He doesn't have the sand in his pants. Dotson needs to stay healthy and stay in shape. He's in a whole different class of OG.
Yep. Can't fault the staff for trying to get some sort of return on investment with Green. But he is looking like an easy cut in the coming weeks. Just can't justify trying to force it when theres UDFAs like Leglue & Dixon that are making immediate impacts & have versatility. He can't play a man scheme to save his life. Get Dotson a personal health and fitness coach.
I prefer LeGlue at OG over Green by miles. And I prefer Hassenauer at backup OC, too. And both of those guys also have positional flexibility.Yep. Move on and give other guys more reps that have upside.
Based on the 1st year of film Green has put out there I don't know if any teams would be interested. Even if their scouting dept had interest in drafting him last year lol. Those scouting reports are likely extinguished at this point. But I would certainly call around to see if any OL hungry teams (Bucs?) are desperate for IOL.I prefer LeGlue at OG over Green by miles. I wonder if they could trade Green to a zone team like Atlanta or Miami.
They could rationalize it that he isn't being used right, which is true. He shouldn't be in this scheme, and needs to be somewhere that does 75%+ zone blocking.Based on the 1st year of film Green has put out there I don't know if any teams would be interested. Maybe. But even rationalizing scheme doesn't cover up for the eyesore that he is in pass-pro. Get him moving in space in run blocking, sure... But his technique in pass-pro is abysmal to say the least. They could rationalize it that he isn't being used right, which is true. Ooh it is. He needs help every Pass-Pro rep from either the T or C. This is preseason to see how people flesh out, but anyone who lets him man up on a DT is trying to get their QB killed.Maybe.
