I don't think I remember the last time I stayed up til midnight. I need all the sleep I can get to chase around a 2 year old all day, especially when he gets up with the birds every morning. Man, I am making myself sound really old.

I have a 2 year old and they always make you feel old. Mt mother in law is in town so me and my wife can sneak out for a few days. That is right, I am not vacationing from work, I am vacationing from parenting. Nobody will appreciate Vegas less then me this weekend, I will sleep in until 2 PM and go to bed at 9 pm. in between I will hang out at a cabana and nap.

I will never know how my parents raised 7 kids. Or how Rob handles twins, I can't even imagine!

2 is a lot of fun, they learn a lot and the joy they get from simple things is awesome to watch. I got more excited for my daughter learning each letter in her name then I ever got watching sports.

Wasn't so bad when I got a new crop of 4-5 year olds e'ry year. Results wise.

I never understood 'the terrible twos'. Mine was always so agreeable at that age. But it's a mixed bag. You can't leave them alone for a minute. And sometimes a minute is too long.

It seems like their mind is growing faster then their ability to cope with understanding. So you get a lot of screaming, but if you don't cave to demands when they throw a fit it seems to stop pretty quickly. Feeding that would behavior would snowball quickly though.

Only 45 and the house is quiet. I love it! Now I get to watch my granddaughter grow up. Just starting to crawl. I'm loving life.

Face time is awesome. Love talking to her every night.
