Moore is looking decent. Lack of arm strength is very noticeable when he's got the pass rush in his face. His fall-away throws have no zip on them at all. Seems pretty comfortable in the offense, though, which is good. I'm more comfortable with him in there than Dan-o.

Is Salas going to throw his hat in the ring in this WR competition now?

Ugh. Terrible route and decision on that play. Can not do that. Offense 101.

Salas definitely brings some size. Give me him, Broyles, or Jones over Ross.

And Dan-O is doing his best to make a liar out of me. He's out-playing Moore thus far.

Zenner looking good on this drive. Tough running, fair burst on the longer run there...

That Broyles guy just seems to catch passes. I wish he'd wrasle the punt return job away from Ross.

Ross plays scared and makes mistakes... bad combo for sure. Doesn't offer all that much as receiver, either. I say cut him tomorrow so he has a chance to catch on and give these young WRs a shot to grow with the offense.

Come on Smitty, I like ZZ and would be no fun picking on him. DK is a different story though.
ZZTailback is no DK just yet. But like Ebron with starting or not, it's up to Zach. The opportunity is there, he just has to take it.

Abdullah looked really good tonight. And he's got the illiteration going for him.

But he's too mainstream.

TJ Jones could be my hero if he forces Ross off the roster.

My thoughts after watching the game.
Abdullah looked really good.
The starting O line looked good against a good front 7.
Someone should end up taking Ross's spot on the roster. Whether that is Broyles Salas or Jones. They all look better than him.
Wright was surprisingly decent.
I'm worried about our starting tackles without Ngata.
I'm not sure if Van Noy has it.
Winn might be my least favorite back of the night.

The problem with Ryan Broyles is that he just can't stay healthy and play more than 10 games a year. He's a good possession receiver, but he's made of glass. I wouldn't mind Abdullah or Tate getting some looks at returns, but one of, if not both will be primary players on offense all year.

I was surprised by DT Jermelle Cudjo. He nevered showed much in his first 4 years with the Rams or Chiefs. Could just be a fluke, but I will keep an eye on him. Especially considering how undisciplined Tyrunn Walker looked. Devin Taylor played well also in place of JJ.

The RTs were much better than expected. Tomlinson did not do anything special and missed 1 assignment.

TJ Jones looked very good. Hopefully he keeps it up. Salas made a case for himself too. Ross and Broyles in trouble.

Special teams looked exceptional. Good sign.

I also saw something in QB Garrett Gilbert. Interested to see what he does with more time.
