I'm not sure how much Riley knows (if anything) about option football.

He got his fill at least once a year from those EugenoLand Duckies that's for sure. I read somewhere recently he was enjoying his type of hybrid system that you speak of. I still look forward to watching Braska football no matter what the O style. Riley was a gamer, even with a little talent at OSU. He has unlimited resources now with your team

If we magically go through the non-con 4-0 without baby Jesus returning punts, then anything could end up happening.

Anything.

Agree. Riley is smart enough NOT to go out on a limb and predict something stupid (11-1) etc. It merely depends upon how fast this years team buys into his system.....especially the defense.

New prediction and I'm sticking with it for the rest of the year. 11 wins, West champ and a VERY competitive B1G CCG!!

Done with the doom and gloom. This team will find a way.

1957 was the last time Nebraska started a season 0-2.

Thank goodness it is South Alabama, but South Alabama is beating Gardner-Webb.

LMAO

plorps, you are dwunk as hell sir....

We will be 3-1 heading into conference play.
you sir may just be as dwunk as I am
the Huskers look like a bunch of bumbling lumbering tools on a grid iron made for real players to play on
that game I saw today was a total embarssment to me
even to the fact that I can't spell fer shit or hold a steady thought in my head for more than 5 seconds

After game 1 I would certainly like to change my pick to 10-2.

I forget what I picked for the record but I believe it was 4 losses. Saturday positives includee Wilbon, Banderas seemed everywhere in the new style D, Zo Moore & Trey Foster played well as did that 70's porno kid Westie, a backup punter that didn't totally suck, and the fans who still love their Huskers in spite of the Administration.

Riley in his first year will do as well or better than Pelini did last year. Luckily he didn't set the standard very high. I'll go safe with 8-4

Changing mine from 7-5 to 10-2.

When I made the 7-5 pick I honestly was expecting this team to be in complete shambles with a new staff. They've instead improved and I think IF we lose another game it might be on the road against Minnesota or at home against MSU.

I will stick with mine.

But if we get mulligans, I want my mulligan after the Miami game.

I'll stick with my original prediction of a 7-5 season. By the way, Jed has sure been silent.
