I'd go with 9-3, but wouldn't be terribly surprised to see 10-2
I think we beat BYU in a hard fought low scoring affair.
I think we lose to Miami by 10 though.
BYU lacks a pass defense. The new pass happy Nebraska is going to throw it all around, and when the BYU defense tries to make up for that, Tommy Armstrong will run for over 100 yards.
Does Banker have a clue? That is my main worry. If I were Banker I would put Rose-Ivey or Byerson Cockrell, or maybe even Nate Gerry, to spy and shadow Taysom Hill. I would hate to not have Nate in the defensive backfield for the threat of an interception.
I think it is going to be a high scoring game. I will go Nebraska 47 BYU 42.
Miami is in a world of hurt. Al Golden is not a coach. No Duke Johnson. No Philip Dorsett. The O line is basically all young and porous. I expect the Nebraska front four to have a field day. The Hurricanes defense is not good.
All Miami has is Brad Kaaya, who just might be on his back a lot.
Nebraska should beat Miami by at least 15.
We're gonna win in a 100 point shootout at home on opening week over BYU of all teams, and then go on the road to Miami and demolish them?
Miami preseason is ranked 12 spots ahead of Nebraska in FPI for a reason.
2015 preseason college football rankings: ESPN's FPI - Stats & Info - ESPN
Preseason FPI is calculated using three major components for each FBS team: (I took this from ESPN)
prior years’ offense
prior year's defense
prior year's special teams efficiencies
returning starters
head coach information
recruiting rankings.
2014 Offense Nebraska 31, Miami 44
2014 Defense Nebraska 52, Miami 14
2014 Special Teams, beats me. Nebraska has Foltz and Pierson-El, Miami has ???
Returning Starters Nebraska 12 Miami did dismiss an offensive line starter for being a poison. 10
Head Coach information beats me. Al Golden is not very good, but is his rating better than Riley's?
Recruiting Rankings no idea how to determine, other than Miami is probably 20 higher than Nebraska
I didn't mean to sound like I was attacking you so sorry for that. I just completely disagree on BYU putting up 42 on us in Lincoln. And I have a hard time not seeing the Miami game being difficult en sech.

I like the bump
I'm going to say 10-2.
I think Riley has surrounded himself with some experienced seasoned assistant coaches. Now how that translates on the field immediately.
I'm going to be very optimistic.
my prediction is this
FNG's mom will tire of Jedburk and move on to Mike Riley
