i'm going to be honest. i just didn't realize how bare our cupboard truly was at Nebraska. I have no clue how Bo intended to field a team this year, particularly on Defense at LB and DE. offensively maybe we would have been a little better out of the gate with the same system and Tommy running the ball a lot more, but his improvement in the passing game is evident under DL. the o-line doesn't look fantastic and i wish they would get some substitutions going so our backups have experience.

Oh and doesn't anyone else thing tOSU's struggles at QB are directly related to Beck? that's who I'd blame it on.

I did a pretty good job of convincing myself that we had the guys. We simply don't. When you recruit as poorly as we did and end up having walk-ons as 1/3 of your travel roster, it's gonna be hard to find success. That has to get better going forward, and I think it will.

That what hurt most about the loss we are simply not talented enough we are thin at every key major spot. Our secondary looks horrible lbs are thin DL thin OL avg . we see how much abdullah covered up.

Miami will always have talent but they were out coaching us for 3 qtrs same staff that miami fans want gone.

I think the staff got a rude wake up call vs Miami they don't have the horses walk on won't do it anymore vs top talent from Here on out they are gonna have make smart calls plays and scheme accordingly. Next test is Wisconsin

I originally was going to go camping this coming weekend because of the dumpster fire that was Illinois. But now it seems like every game from here on out could be a toss-up. I love our offense, minus a shaky running game. But until our defense can find a way to defend the pass better, nothing would surprise me at this point.
