The Carl vs Bo stuff was just brother crap between them yelling at each other. I saw nothing wrong with that.

It still amazes me how many people still believe the Solich stuff.

Bo never spoke with Miami, Penn State, or Arkansas. But his agent talked to all of them..so when Bo says 'I haven't been contacted by those schools' - he actually hasn't because he lets his agent do all the talking and getting particulars to see if its the right fit. Bo is a master of playing with words and this is no different. He will listen to any offer that comes in and consider them.

But get ready for a new coach because Bo's agent has been told to get a feel from interested schools (from a very credible source). Apparently Bo's been butt hurt from the media and fans one too many times. No matter what he says he despises both. He fits in better with the SEC attitude, culture, and fan base.

IMO; If Nebraska wins out; he gets Arkansas. If they limp out the rest of the schedule he goes Auburn.

And I agree with Jed that this is Osbornes fault. They havent been the same since Marvin left. His moral clauses against Carl and Marvin killed the coaching staff...funny how it didn't matter with Solich.

He brought it upon himself for not treating the media and fans with dignity. He should have left the Blackshirt tradition intact and he wouldn't have been asked the questions a few years ago. Issue 11 or 12 of them beginning fall practice and create a true competition to either keep on or take one away. There is no longer any pride in the defense as they have no identity other than Pelini's Clusterfuck.

Even with Dorsey at LSU, Pelini's defense allowed 43 and 50 points respectively against Kentucky and Arkansas, two 8-5 teams. That was LSU's NC team under Pelini. Pelini isn't a very good of a defensive coordinator.

Arkansas scored 28 pts in regulation and 22 pts in overtime.

Everybody wants Bo to succeed. Many people believe, unless he changes the way he does things, that Bo is not on the right path to succeed. I pray that yourn will not be about rubbing any success by the team that may take place between now and December in anyone's face. I have been predicting a Big 10 Conference Championship since game 1. I also have posted that I see us still winning the conference even if we are upset today (I predict we win today 28-23.). Thank you Red_Alert for informing me that we are not mathematically eliminated if we lose today.
What does it really mean if we run the table? If we are to be honest, we will be beating flawed or mediocre talent.
In the end, all we'll be doing is winning against teams we should beat if we run the table. We are favored to win tonight.

Is it too much to ask that a defensive guru (in his 5th year) have a defense that isn't 90th in the country against the rush, and 71st in scoring defense? The same guru that holds the Blackshirt tradition in contempt.

Is it too much to ask that the team be disciplined enough not to be 110th in turnover margin and 120th in fumbles lost?
