He needs to at least attempt it. Doesn't need to be great but right now defense guard him a certain way because they know he doesn't even attempt jump shots.

Exactly. Just the threat that he might shoot it is enough to help if he can hit perimeter shots at anywhere close to a decent rate.

He's a top 25 guy without a jumper.

A problem I already see with Russ in Houston.

He is shooting the 3 ball way too much.

If you're a 30% career 3 pt shooter then I would prefer if you keep your attempts down

@TurnUpTheHeat I don't know where is Spo head is at when it comes to opening night lineup but this comment is not the attitude you would want a player to have. If he did have to come off the bench, he would be great in that role and I also think Herro probably fit in better with Winslow and Butler. He is probably best suited coming off the bench with Dragic.

He should do whatever the team thinks will work best.
Its a long season so obviously changes can be made if plan A isnt working.
Wade came off the bench. Dion needs to just shut up and play.
Play good enough and the minutes will be there.

Yep exactly. Some guys are too worried about that.

You can come off the bench, play similar minutes as you did when starting and play in the biggest moments.
