Pretty good first round: Nailed Cavs, Bulls, Warriors, Rockets, and Grizzlies. Off one game for the Hawks and maybe Spurs, if they win today. Complete whiff on the Wizards and maybe Clippers if they win today.
Clippers and Wizards could hurt me going forward as I have both the Spurs and Hawks making their conference finals.

Or divinity may not want it or karma of the area may not want it or as saying goes "not in the cards", "not destined", etc. That's given the poisonous Celtics who tried to poison the Cavs season. I posted earlier that Cavs were picking their poison by losing to celtics in regular season and I thought they would give them tough games or something would get screwed. 3 of the 4 games were tough and 4th game wasn't tough to win for Cavs but other "poison" came into the picture like Love going down and Smith getting baited into brawl.

I generally just go with higher seed in first round especially in East since sub-.500 teams are in the lower seeds. So I'll make my predictions now based on some reasoning:

Atlanta goes as it's offense-- if they go on a streak of scoring with 3s, they should come back and win against Washington. Atlanta probably loses in first round if Indiana got into playoffs since they were rusty offensively in first couple of games and Nets don't really defend as good as Indiana. So picking Atlanta over Washington in at most 7.

Cavs over Bulls if James/Irwin both are having good games which I expect from now on. So Cavs over Bulls in 7 if they can get clicking even with Love out and Smith missing in action first two games. Maybe Rose will get injured and it'll make it easier for Cavs or even things out. Hey, maybe bring Love back in for a game to fight with Rose.

Golden State over rusted state (I mean Memphis) in 6. I expect Grizzlies to provide better defense Memphis at least.

LA Clippers over Houston Astros (I mean rockets). Only because Paul is coming back and Harden is sharing the ball. Harden needs to hog up the ball and take all the shots if Houston have any chance. LA Clippers in 6.

Cavs vs. Atlanta-- Cavs easily in 5 or 6-- Atlanta is all offense and Cavs have better defense than Nets and Washington.

Golden State over LA Clippers-- golden state has more accurate shooters especially from 3 point land so even if they get outrebounded by 5 or 10, they still end up with higher score by game's end. Paul is the only accurate shooter on the Clippers so they need to tackle him and take him out (just kidding).

Golden State vs. Cavs-- Golden state due to bad karma for Cavs. They should have kept Wiggins (ha!).
