His was the first one I went too.

According to his rankings Washington has played:

Rutgers - 103
Montana - 131
Fresno State - 113
Colorado - 44
Oregon State - 104

AVG Rank: 99

WVU has played:

Virginia Tech - 13
East Carolina - 120
Delaware State - 246
Kansas - 132

AVG Rank: 127.75

No doubt WVU has played the best team, but they've also played by far the worst team. Obviously neither team has played a good schedule, but that's why Washington's has been tougher according to his rankings.

Fair points. I forgot truely how bad ECU, Kansas and Dst is.

Del St. is the team really dragging it down. There are 254 combined teams in FBS and FCS, so they are literally almost the worst one. They are even rated behind a lot of D2 schools and even some D3 schools when you look at his rankings for everything.

If everyone is playing cupcakes then aren't they all in the same boat?

If everyone played the exact same schedule o f the same cupcakes, yes, it'd be worthwhile. That isn't the case though.

Later in the season, it isn't a bad way to measure a defense. Using it, or really any stats thru 3,4 games is pointless. As teams are playing their cupcake schedules to get ready for league play.
If ANY stat is useless, then why in gods name do you keep pounding bullshit stats as proof of anything about your defense? Hypocrite much? :L

We've went from UW looked terrible against bad teams in games he clearly didn't watch, to UW clearly has the worst FBS schedule. I'm starting to think UW must have hurt him at some point...

I apologize to the Washington fans. I didn’t realize how bad it has been for you for so long. No wonder you get excited about a top 10 anything, even if it has been against bottom feeders. Prior to last year, 6 losses or more had been the norm for almost 15 years.

So you get excited all you’d like. :suds:

With those kind of stats, you'd think Washington would be ranked higher!

The 10 most watchable teams in college football

8. WASHINGTON

Husky Stadium is a gem. Experiencing it in person is obviously preferable to taking it in on TV, but zoomed-out views of the venue’s signature overhanging roofs, with the Olympic and Cascade Mountains and Lake Washington in the background, are a nice touch in between game action. The product on the field suits the picturesque surroundings. After running away from Colorado for a 37–10 win in Boulder on Saturday night, the Huskies are 4–0 and checked in at No. 6 in the AP Top 25 and Coaches Polls, No. 5 in ESPN’s Football Power Index and No. 8 in Football Outsiders S&P + ratings.

Washington watched a chunk of its high-end talent leave for the NFL this off-season, including standout defensive backs Kevin King, Budda Baker and Sidney Jones, as well as leading wide receiver John Ross, but head coach Chris Petersen has the Huskies on track to take the Pac-12 North again and earn its second trip to the national semifinals in as many years.

Junior quarterback Jake Browning made some noise in the Heisman Trophy race last season, but the player to home in on when sampling Washington is Dante Pettis, a senior wide receiver/ace return man who reportedly clocked a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash last year. He’s Browning’s No. 1 target, and he should see more balls thrown his way now that No. 2 target Chico McClatcher is out for the season with a broken ankle. On top of that, he doubles as one of the best return men in college football history, having tied the NCAA record with his eighth career punt runback for a touchdown in Week 3’s 48–16 win over Fresno State.

You sure do talk a lot of shit against a program that has won as many titles as your team in your lifetime.

And a ND fan is opening his mouth? ND’s program right now is as legit as Manti Teo’s girlfriend in college. :suds:

I don't care when ND gets trashed because it's warranted...we've been good 1 year this century...just like Michigan.

congrats on a title 20 years ago. I didn't give a shit then and don't now.
Well, don’t worry. Only reason ND didn’t win it all last year is because Brian Kelly has to do fundraisers for the football program.
