But according to the way you want to calculate things, your defense gave them up. So stop trying to take those points out, they gave them up and it should be counted against their points per game.

You need a tissue? Still upset you can't find a link to support your claim?

With Rutgers, less than they gave up to Ohio State in 1 1/2 quarters, basically the same as Nebraska(congrats on that), but did outscore Morgan State.

With Oregon State, less than they gave up to Colorado State, Washington State or Minnesota. But congrats, you outscored Portland State by a TD.

So as you see, your powder puff schedule proves absolutely nothing. I don't feel like looking it up, but I'd guess there isn't a team in the P5 even in the ballpark with Washington's 'SOS'.
Weird how we still manage to be in the top 10 in the offensive scoring category. What's it like to come in behind Kansas in that category? Sorry man, must suck.

Quick, after playing powerhouses like air force, Cincinnati, Purdue, and Florida with a suspended starting defense, how many times has Michigan cracked the 40 point mark?

Why in the world would that suck? I'd worry more if we had played two of the worst teams in CFB and struggled against them for over half the game.

Then again, after last year's schedule, maybe Washington thinks this year has been tough. :noidea:

Alright... there's no arguing with someone who doesn't have a clue. So I'll just again remind you you have no business in this thread, take that 58th ranked offense and run along.

Now I don't have a clue? Maybe all the national sports websites are clueless too. Washington hasn't faced a team in the top 50 yet, but have faced 2 ranked 100+. Are you saying there is a P5 school with an easier schedule so far? Who is it?

This isn't even close to being remotely true. You probably should have looked it up.

Glad we can agree that Michigan's defense gave up 17 points against Florida. Find a link that shows their ppg against without it.

In no way shape or form has Washington played a tougher schedule then WVU. Massey is full of shit. I know our schedule is bad but come on man.

You don't have to look far for a team with a worse schedule. Just look at Wisky's ffs. The only ranked team on the entire slate for the entire year is a pathetic Michigan team that lets air force and purdue hang around. :L

The badgers skip Ohio State AND Penn State. And had a crap sandwich OOC.

Seriously will face ONE team the entire year that is likely to be top 25. And odds are Michigan will be low down the list by seasons end as it is.

And it is truly bottom feeders they face on the road outside of a Nebraska team that isn't dominating at home anymore.

No, you don't. Nothing you said in that post is what I was referring to. I know, this is hard...

Michigan did give up 17 to Florida. 17 points does count against the defense.

Then why are you arguing that PPG against is a bad way to measure defenses? Your defense gave up those points, stop trying to take them out of your defenses PPG.

I quit reading after West Virginia. Just the fact they played Va Tech, while UW hasn't played a top 50 team tells me all I need to know.

Later in the season, it isn't a bad way to measure a defense. Using it, or really any stats thru 3,4 games is pointless. As teams are playing their cupcake schedules to get ready for league play.

If everyone is playing cupcakes then aren't they all in the same boat?

His was the first one I went too.

According to his rankings Washington has played:

Rutgers - 103
Montana - 131
Fresno State - 113
Colorado - 44
Oregon State - 104

AVG Rank: 99

WVU has played:

Virginia Tech - 13
East Carolina - 120
Delaware State - 246
Kansas - 132

AVG Rank: 127.75

No doubt WVU has played the best team, but they've also played by far the worst team. Obviously neither team has played a good schedule, but that's why Washington's has been tougher according to his rankings.
