14 rushing yards on 12 carries...jeez

This is crazy. No ref is going purposely blow calls, and his integrity/credibility, because of the name issue. While I
Agree it was a bad call on culliver, good teams overcome that. Stop making excuses, Jason.
It wasn't a bad call. CC hit Olsen in the neck with a forearm. Not saying it was a dirty play by CC or anything, it was just a bam bam play and those type of hits will get flagged every time in today's NFL.
Another sign today that Matt Jones isn't the answer to the question, who will be the predominant Redskin RB perhaps?
OK just getting back. And im wondering if that looked as bad on TV as it did in person.
I agree that wasnt a dirty play, its just a shit happens kinda play. How ever, one has to wonder, when do they start throwing flags on offensive players for lowering their heads into plays like this. CUlliver ended up hitting him high because Olsen was dipping down into the play. Had Culliver been a step later, he would have taken Olsens helmet to his head. Thats the only thing that irks me about calls like that. A WR dips into a play and ends up spearing a defender and it normally goes uncalled. Or goes against the defense any way.
Side note, at some point they need to take the power to take points off the board out of a refs hands unless the points directly came from the penalty in question. Shit like a holding call on the other side of the field, a block in the back that had no bearing on the play. Sure throw the flag, take the yards. But when Refs have the power to alter the game with a questionable call, they dont need to be making calls.

I don't think it was a dirty play. The current state of the NFL is to flag hits above the neck. We can argue all day about whether it was a penalty or not. It is judgement call by the ref and I understand why he made the judgement. I would have been fine with him not making it too. I miss football the way it used to be played.
jones is a rookie drafted in round 3 . lets put the judgments away for now and let him grow a bit

He's also a RB and what is the number one thing a RB can't do?
Exactly.

Tiki Barber had that same issue...it got fixed.
