Agreed, but I dont buy into this theory that anyone is 'Shutting Curry Down'

Thats a unique once in a generation type scorer, that wouldnt be shut down by anyone
Nobody on the Bulls team would/could have shut down both Curry and Thompson. The Warriors would have won in 7. I also believe the Warriors have a better bench.

I tend to agree.....And im not so sure about how much "Better the competition" was for the Bulls....After the Celtics and Pistons Heydays, it was pretty much the Knicks, and to a lesser degree, the Pacers standing in the Bulls way every season, and not much else....GS is playing in a pretty damn string Western conference

Totally agree. IMO the competition in the NBA, (especially the Western conference) is much tougher in 2015/16 then it was in 95/96.

They both lose to the '86 Celtics, so this is pointless.

2015-16 GSW are a bunch of jump shooters.

No chance against that Bulls team. Talk about defense.
Rodman
Pippen
Jordan

Any other team EVER have 3 - 1st team NBA all defensive players in their starting 5?

And how many playoff games did GS get blow out??!! 6-7?

96 Bulls lost 1 playoff game going into the Finals. Went up 3-0 on Seattle

Better question what would the result be if the cavs played them?

Remember the cavs didn't have HC and were playing a team with a better record and statistically better stats, and they still won on GS HC

The '87 Lakers would unceremoniously sweep this Golden State team and would take the '96 Bulls in five.

Depends.

If we are talking about the team that won 73 regular season games because of their phenomenal ball movement and shot making, I will take the Bulls in 7. If we are talking about the team we saw playing against the Cavs the last 2 weeks, I say Bulls in 4 or 5.

The Bulls were a MUCH better perimeter defensive team than the Cavs are and they had more offensive weapons also.

Bulls win 4-2 ... Warriors would take a couple games just because there outside shooting is so deadly... But when you look at the match-up Bull's would be too much.... Rebounding edge Bulls big time with Rodman and Luc Longley... And of course the Bulls had the Jedi of basketball, Michael Jordan... BEST EVER....

With the way the Warriors played in the playoffs, they'd get swept. The MVP was no where to be found for the most part.

Bulls Sweep. How is this even in question now? The Warriors are CHUMPs. A 2nd rate team at best who have no offense other than the long range bomb.

Look at what LeHype and Irving did to the perimeter. Imagine what Pippen, MJ, Harper would have done to them. Rodman would probably grab about 30 boards a game
