I’ve been beating this drum for a long long time.

CNN has blood on its hands for Charlottesville violence.

A) wildly exaggerated how many people were there
B) covered as if it was a huge movement
C) gave a group of idiots a platform it hasn’t had in a very long time to fulfill a narrative drummed up by some asshole editor
D) coverage incites violence and then everyone at once point and say “SEE!”

Dude.. people HERE in this thread have said, Democrats want open borders because they want the immigrants to come and vote Democrat. SO where am I jumping to any false accusation if people have said exactly this?

That is the reason democrats want them here.

Democrats are extremely nice to illegals now because they know they are voting in our elections. Why else would they change their tune from a few years ago when they too believed in the rule of law they passed?

So maybe Im reading GK and Skinsdad wrong when they say shit like the only reason Democrats want open borders is because they think these people will come in and vote Democrat. By saying they will vote, the assumption is they will have achieved citizenship. Unless you listen to Donald or his board mouthpiece Skinsdad... in which case you believe millions of illegals are voting as we speak.

Actually, if you want open borders, you would assume illegals are voting. I want citizens to vote. I want non-citizens not to vote. I want illegals to go home. It is very simple.

Actually normal people who are not afraid of losing privilege would assume that these people would self register, and if they wanted to vote would apply for citizenship. Same way we assume people from Europe do when they come here if they decide they want to become a citizen and vote. i dont want non citizens voting, I want them to fix the immigration laws and make it possible for these people to become citizens and get rid of the need for them to risk their life to get here.

Do you need a better reason for the question than to check the numbers of legal citizens and immigrants in this country...and to only have them participate in the political system? Again, illegals should not be counted in determining members of the House.

Nope. I believe if a person is in the country illegally, then they will try to cheat the system in other ways too.

Why do those people deserve to be citizens? So, why should we allow people who believe socialism is good have say in our government? What if we have an influx of people who believe gays should be executed come in, or worm be subservient?

I am not worried about privilege...of course voting isn’t a privilege...it is a RIGHT.
