IM old school too. And i realize this country has been at this point before. And its usually sparked by some folks feeling like if they dont maintain control they will be replaced. I have never said non-citizens should vote. I have pointed out that if you fear these people becoming citizens and voting against your platform, you should ask whats wrong with your platform.

So you have made this allegation before. That those that want to stop illegal immigration are doing so because they are afraid of their vote. Quite frankly, my friend, that is insulting. Your leap of judgement is not only way off base, but unfair. Who has said they oppose illegal immigration because of the vote issue? Please, point to that post. Illegal citizens voting is not my main issue but down the road it will be a concern if the dems have their way. The influx of illegals from South America will primarily settle in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Those four states alone offer 109 electoral's in our most highly regarded and most important election to the presidency. Some will laugh at this notion that illegals voting would have any influence, but at some point if the flood of people keep continuing it will be. This is why they are so hell bent on giving illegals the right to vote. Do the math.

The terrible photo DNC Media pushed for the past few days turned out to be not a "refugee" but an "economic migrant" who got himself and his daughter killed, before his wife's eyes, because he decided to bypass the legal U.S. immigration system after his mother warned him not to.

The man and his wife both had jobs and a home with his mother. They made very little money and understandably wanted a better life. There is no moral, ethical, or practical universe in which the people of the United States are required to provide it.

The man was from El Salvador, which has received over $4.4 billion in aid from the United States but still generated a tidal wave of economic migrants. It is not the fault of the American people that El Salvador cannot provide a better life for its citizens.

Accepting carefully vetted refugees fleeing dangerous persecution is very different, both in practical and ethical terms, than waving economic migrants across the border. Deliberately conflating the two is profoundly dishonest and immoral.

If Democrats think the American people ARE somehow responsible for the entire population of El Salvador, then the solution they should propose is to remove its failed government and pampered ruling class and give us the POWER commensurate with that RESPONSIBILITY.

There can be no responsibility without power. No one can ethically be held responsible for conditions they did not create and have no power to change - not individually and not as a nation. But Democrats think Americans should be penalized to help the ruling class of El Salvador.

Democrats would give Americans no power to correct the terrible conditions in the countries from which economic migrants are flowing. We already tried sending them huge amounts of money - charity Americans were forced to pay for - and it didn't help.

The systems in those countries are broken, so pouring money into them changes nothing. Democrats think Americans should be forced to absorb the consequences of those failed systems in perpetuity. They even hold us responsible for people who die while trying to break our laws.

Democrats envision America as the relief system for failed, corrupt, crime-ridden governments around the world. They retain all the power and privileges; we absorb the costs and take in the people failed by those systems, forever.

For every single Democrat on those presidential debate stages this week, America is required to prop up failed governments and criminal gangs across the hemisphere and around the world. Dems are friends to corrupt foreign ruling classes, many of whom share their basic ideology.

What would happen if America put together comprehensive plans of action that would actually improve the lives of economic migrants like the man who got his little daughter killed while trying to violate the U.S. border? Not just money but detailed reforms?

Why, we would be arrogantly informed by the rulers of those countries that we have no right to tell the wise and noble Men of the People who run El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras how to manage their affairs! We are required to silently accept everyone who flees their rule.

Democrats would force American citizens to become accomplices to crime and corruption by supporting the dismal systems that generate economic migration. We are not allowed to vote on it - or much of anything else, once migrants dilute our votes and change our political system.

Nobody wants to invade Central America and "fix" it, of course, but neither should we allow ourselves to be invaded BY it. Our sovereignty is not subordinate to theirs. Our rights are not nullified by their needs. We are not responsible for people who ignore our laws.

Sovereignty is what this is really all about: the intersection of power and responsibility. Every single Democrat candidate for president just told you American sovereignty matters much less than the sovereignty of foreign nations. Ours must be sacrificed to preserve theirs.

This is the crap liberals want us to accept . This is why it’s an issue not race or culture as people would lead you to believe

Yep. I believe that the bigger issue is that in many cities where Antifa has a large presence (e.g. the shithole of Portland) the cops are basically told to do nothing when these clowns get violent. It is ridiculous since Antifa will label cops as being the problem yet they will cry for them to help when they are threatened. Horrible govt leadership in failing cities like Seattle, Portland, SF & LA is the major cause of these problems.

Who? Granted, I don't read every post, but I haven't seen anyone they want illegal immigration stopped because of their potential vote once achieving citizenship.
