Here is what I don't understand. Where are our friends on the left denouncing these actions by antifa? When we saw white supremacist groups enact violence, virtually all of us that are right leaning denounced the actions. The guy in Charlottesville deserves as much prison time as they can give him. But when there is violence emanating from the left, all we get is crickets.

Lets be real. Some of our right leaning posters denounce white nationals, but with qualifiers. Such as, well there arent many of them in any case. I cant speak for anyone else, but I denounce any type of terrorist act, of which these are. But Im also not going to minimize the impact, or the number of people actually in Antifa.

And you shouldn't. Violence is violence. Both sides need to take care of their internal shit before they start casting stones. But you are the first to denounce this violence by antifa. And I'm not so sure you are "left leaning".

Antifa, white nationals, and any other fringe organizations can protests all they want. They have that right. Honestly, I prefer that they do, for two reasons. First, I want to know who they are. Second, I want the rest of the country to hear their message, just so everyone knows how stupid they are.

But as soon as violence occurs, we need to all condemn it loud and clear and prosecute those perpetrating that violence to the full extent of the law. For we all know, violence leads to more violence. And if that happens, antifa is going to need more than crowbars, fists, and milkshakes. I don't see it turning out well for antifa. Nor the GOP because that ass whooping will ultimately come back on the right.

Minimizing the numbers doesn’t minimize the actions. There are very few ANTIFA participants but their actions should be condemned. Here is another thing people hate but it doesn’t minimize anything. Most are white and all are liberals.

By the way, treat both groups, if they are violent, equally. Make it the maximum punishment.

Please define what a white nationalist is. I happen to be white, and I believe American citizens should be put before all others in this country. I also believe the Constitution guarantees the rights of its own citizens where the Constitution has jurisdiction.

and here is the rub shark , you are conflating 2 different arguments .

you said that trump and conservatives are beholden to white supremacists . the answer to that was they have no numbers to be of significant value to ANY party to have ANY influence . you wanted to paint conservatives as white supremacists

so there is NO QUALIFIERS AT ALL



i also pointed out in charlottesville that ANTIFA was there , ARMED , and ready to commit violence which was brushed off by the left , its leaders , and people on this board

i also pointed out that ANTIFA and the FAR left , be it occupy wall street or others have roited since the election and committing violence on college campuses when conservatives speak to silence POV's they disagree with .

exactly what are we talking about when we say white nationals ? see i think this is a left wing term used to suppress white peoples opinions . if i am white , and i want ALL peoples rights protected to include my race and the constitution followed , this means i am a bigot ? because the vast majority of whites want just what i said no matter what side of the isle they sit
