Just stop, the President responding to the reaction with is "I wasn't expecting that" so the laughter was very real. And it was a reaction to his incompetence as he had no idea about NATO, at the G7 Summit. Again saying you don't care about other countries is incredibly ignorant.

It's kind of amusing that you consider Trump a blameless victim of the MSM onslaught, as if he played no role what so ever in all of this. From the start of his campaign it was clear that he was not aware that when you throw you hat in the ring and run for President that will come with criticism. Instead of understanding this and acting like a grown up he reacting like a petulant child whenever people said mean things about him. He then launched an all out assault on the MSM, crying like a little bitch constantly and revoking press credentials. Is the MSM unfair at times or misrepresent the facts? Yes they do and that's not right. But if you don't believe Fox does the same thing I invite you to Google the story they ran of the NFL players supposedly kneeling in protest. But to act as if President Trump did not play a role in this war with the MSM and he is an innocent victim is complete horseshit.

Not caring about foreign nations is incredibly ignorant. We rely on our allies as they rely on us, to think we can go it alone without relationships abroad is idiotic.

I think the incompetence was pretty clear in my first post. The President of the United States is laughed at visibly at the G7 Summit over his ignorance with regard to NATO. This simply can't happen and the fact that this is no big deal to you confirms your cult like mentality that he can do no wrong, even when he is wrong and laughed at by the world.

How is it ignorant? We don’t actually rely on them at all. We would like them to take some financial burden, considering we are defending them, along with our interests, but we do not rely on them. Seriously, if we didn’t have Europe for the War in Iraq, nothing would have changed. Our allies fully rely on us. If the US goes down, so does the world.

Be specific. What was he laughed at about? How was he ignorant about NATO? What did he say and what did he do?

I believe that we all can agree that people can make/earn money anywhere, so staying on the job for that reason seems illogical.

Love of the job, OK, but whatever your skill is, it doesn't disappear if you decide to take on another job elsewhere, right?

So, why do people stay on the job long term? Benefits, and no benefit is more important than their access to private (job related) healthcare. It is the one benefit that consistently ranks first among all others by the employed and unemployed alike. A national healthcare plan eliminates these concerns and employers know it, it doesn't matter to them that not having to hire and use real capital to provide this benefit means more for the bottom line, a stable more reliant and anchored workforce is far more important. Sure you can argue that any of the other regular benefit are more important, but honestly, you realistically could create your own vacation time, realize increases in pay, bonuses and formulate your own retirement plan by taking the time off that you need by strategically taking it between jobs, seek more money as you move on and invest money wisely in anticipation of your retirement.

In effect, National/Universal healthcare, done right, gives you more freedom!

It's done, by eliminating any and all concerns about this major thing that currently causes you to pause, before leaving your current job! Can it be done right? Well, it turns out, that too, is up to you!
