Well, Krush is correct in that they have one of the most, if not the most talented group of DL. I would take Donald & Quinn over any DL we have not named Allen in a second. Many think Donald is the BEST DL in the league along with Watt and this discussion has been on-going for 2 seasons now.
Have they shown up this year, no they are struggling somewhat.

But you have to admit Terry, the Rams offense can and will compete with the best of them. McVay has a way of getting his weapons the ball and Goff, (who most were willing to write off) actually looks like a capable QB under the McVay system wouldn't you say?

The offense is completely fine. I don't see a problem with them whatsoever. The Rams offense is one of the best, definitely.

The Super Bowl contending Dallas Cowboys? Not since the preseason. Have you see how TRASH the Cowboys are? The Rams allowed 30 points, 2 TDs on the ground and 3 in the air. The defense still sucked today. Nice try. Couldn't get to the QB, only hit him 6 times. Only 2 tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Dallas had 8. The offense won them that game.

I agree with you. I thought we were telling skinsdad that the Rams dline and run defense wasn't good. Nothing about the offense. Hey I love the fact that Rams won. better for the Skins.

listen terry and try not to stray , the d/line is on of the best , that is what you dispute . it started with post 19 and it was the d/line that stepped up today , hence as i have said it has been 2 games our o/line has performed well not one as you say

In regards to PPG, it is. Their D is also ranked 29th against the run and they've allowed more rushing TDs than any other defense in the league.

Has a lot more to do with a new defense (Wade just isn't a miracle worker and has always need a lot of talent for his schtick to work, imo) and the old Gregg Williams D just being a coaching abomination. I am seeing people not being in the right spot type deal. Basic run fit stuff. It's definitely not a talent issue in LA, imo. It's a coaching transition issue and LB's. I would bet they get better as the season progresses.

My deal is that I'm having a conversation and people talk back and forth during a conversation. I don't have anything against the Redskins, I'm just being realistic. 3 wins obviously wasn't realistic for this team, but I still don't see a winning record. The defense is great, the offense needs to step up, they are average at best, and Cousins needs to play every game like he plays during primetime.

That's not an opinion, that's a fact. That's what I've been saying all along and a win against a poor Dallas team does not make the Rams DEFENSE automatically one of the best. The offense, on the other hand, is amazing and the offense has carried that team to the 3-1 record. With that said, the Redskins fans should be so proud of their defense to hold the Rams to 20 points. The Rams defense, after that game against Dallas, went from 26th to 28th in PPG and they are now 29th or 30th against the run, depending on if you are looking at total rushing yards allowed or rushing yards per game allowed.

On paper, the Rams defense is probably one of the most talented in the league. They can't aren't putting it together on the field. If the offense keeps playing the way they are, the defense will have no choice but to at least step up a little bit.
