Interesting stat about the 19 games they've played this year .... they each have won more games in the other team's park ....

Tomorrow starts ....... torture extraordinaire ....

Only real surprise to me is Dickerson over Duggar. I guess hitting over speed and defense, but is Dickerson's bat so much better?

That's the only decision really. DickDick has thump, DigDug has speed and D. Dick gives their bully more problems I'm thinking. Wouldn't shock me if Kap took DigDug tho.

I'm just sad that Watson's injury keeps Shittell on the roster.

If Belt were healthy, I'd guess Barrells would be out?

Defense too...I'd prefer Duggar

The way both hit this year, I'm not sure Dickerson is the better choice. Watch him make us (who believe it to be so) wrong on that.

Looked up Dickerson's stats against the Doggies for 2021 ... not impressive .... 6 for 41 with 14 Ks ... 1 HR against a reliever I never heard of ... not sure about Duggar stats though

Duggar is 8 for 37 with 6 RBIs. 5 of those hits were off Buehler. Since Buehler would probably go twice in a 5 game set .... makes you wonder ... why Dickerson
Makes you wonder if those numbers were even noticed (or reviewed) when a decision was being made on who would be included in the roster.

Not sure ... I tend to believe that Kap is not swayed by stats that much ... he tends to go more with his gut feeling ... but I don't know how you NOT use stats within the framework of the playoffs ...you don't have an entire season to make corrections...
