On offense I'd go with Leonard Hankerson. He looked very good. Two very nice routes and one excellent catch.

On defense, I have to mention Barry Cofield because he dominated Pouncey (arguably the best center in the game).

That being said, Kerrigan obviously is the player of the game so far. Dominant pressure, great mind, and nice athleticism. I am looking forward to the regular season.

Honorable mention: Rex Grossman...say what?

Minnifield is playing well, also. Amerson also seemed to be in the right place all the time.

My player is Rex. Was a stud out there last night. So glad we have a solid backup to the backup. Possibly the best 1, 2, 3 punch in the league. Scratch that...it is.

Not sure if anything like this was already posted elsewhere. Anyhow - when Kerrigan scored that TD I had to laugh. For any of the former ESPN posters you might recall how bman went on & on after that Giants game a few years ago where Kerrigan made a similar play. He claimed it was all luck & involved no skill on Kerrigan's part.

Now - overall he has made a similar play 3 times in his career. Would love to hear bman's take on this one. He was such a hater.

It's still luck. I mean he was bobbling that ball and he could have easily dropped it. If he was any good it would have been a clean pick because I have seen fifth rounders make that play look easy.

Sounds about right for Bananaman minus a few colorful insults.
