Avery was like that but he couldn't run the team. He ignored Lopez, almost every play was an isolation play. Either give it to Joe Johnson and have him post up or DWill. He was a horrible coach, PJ was slightly better. I'm hoping for Phil but that's a longshot the only way he comes is if Prokhorov throws a lot of money his way. Maybe Sloan would come but I doubt that. If JVG comes though I would be very happy.

Joe Johnson isn't our franchise player. Its probably D-Will because he is more recognizable than Lopez but I think Lopez is the better player.

None of those guys are anything other than role players. That team doesn't have a true superstar. THey're not scrubs, but they can't compete against the better teams in the conference night in and night out. Especially given how much they're overpaying for those guys.

I agree. Lopez is a legit center in a league bereft of centers for the most part. He can take you outside and inside. Good thing they lost because I think they would have given the Heat some trouble with Lopez scoring down low.

Lopez is nothing but a role player? He had the highest PER out of centers and I think 5th or 6th in the league in PER. He is the best offensive C in the league and has improved defensively, all he has to do now is improve his rebounding and he is a top 10 player in this league. DWill isn't just a role player either. His 2nd half to this season was good. Joe Johnson should be the role player but he sometimes thinks he is the superstar...
