It will be interesting to hear what the FIA's 'tone' will be about all of this. After all, they did ask Pirelli for tires that would wear out, forcing the teams to do pit stops! :rollseyes:

Exactly. I realize that you can't have the tires blowing out, but the racing after the last safety car was the best dry racing in quite some time. I'm not sure how you feel about 3-4 pitstops, but I think that beats the hell out of 1 stop. I can't believe all the whining I read from other boards and Twitter about the tire wear. With the exception of the blowouts, I think it's been great.

The FIA is already taking one step to help calm the teams' fears:

Maybe Pirelli needs to start stamping a giant "L" & "R" on their tires? :rollseyes:
