The 2 former Celtics scored a grand total of 8 points in a game that went into OT and Pierce 4 points came in OT.

oh snap, only bet I lost yesterday was Nets -1.5 and never checked the box score...I see if they didn't combine for 3-16 shooting I probably would have had a good bet. LOL

The HEAT are arguably the most elderly team in the NBA.

I am pretty sure they are #1 oldest, but at least in the top 5.

They are the only team in the entire NBA without a player under 24.

They have the most players in the NBA over the age of 30.

They certainly are in the mix for the "Over the Hill Gang".

That is the last team that should be making fun of other team's ages.

They are truly a FLORIDA team now.

Most of the Heat key players are still under 30 outside of Wade, Battier, and Allen. Who cares that guys like Joel Anthony, Lewis, James Jones, and Roger Mason are over 30? Those guys won't be the reason Miami repeat or not.

Beasley, Lebron, Bosh, Chalmers, and Cole are all under the age of 30. Lebron, Bosh, Cole, and Chalmers are 4 of the Heat best 8 players. It's not a big deal when you have guys over the age over 30 coming of the bench and playing about 20-25 MPG...It is a big deal when those guys are starting and playing 30-35 MPG at least

Beasley is a bit player.
He doesn't even crack the top 12 in terms of minutes played.
Cole is 7th in minutes played.

In terms of most minutes played:

Lebron (28) turns 29 in less than a month
Wade (31) turns 32 in 2 months
Bosh (29) turns 30 in 3 months
Chalmers (27)
Allen (38)
Battier (35)
Cole (25)
Andersen (35)
Haslem (33)
Mason (33)
Lewis (34)

One guy in the entire top 12 of minutes played is under 27. Nobody is under 25.
The HEAT are an insanely old team.

I looked it up. They are the oldest in all 3 measurable categories.
They have the highest age per minute played.
They have the highest age per impact player likely contribution.
They have the highest overall average age.
It is not some secret data that is hidden.

My Spurs are an older team as well for about 15 years running. They are #3 currently.
But, I don't sit around as a Spurs fan and call out other teams for old guys.

In the playoffs you won't be seeing Lewis or Mason. They are slowly working beasley into the rotation. He's been pretty good (for a bench player) in his 2 games. Roger Mason played in one game and will be consistently on the inactive list.

Let's look at the top 7 in MPG

Lebron
Wade
Bosh
Chalmers
Allen
Cole
Battier

Out of those 7, 4 are under the age of 30, Wade is 31 and Battier/Allen are really old. UD and Bird playing 16 MPG is absolutely nothing. Udonis play 2 times per game which is at the start of the 1st and 2nd half. He never see any action once he hits the bench. Wade is 31 but he played at least the regular season the amount of games as a 29 yr old would play. Perfect example of this is Carmelo Anthony. He played 719 regular season games (785 games total) while a 31 yr old Wade played 671 regular season games (803 games total). The Heat aren't counting on any 36 and 37 yr old player to lead them to the promise land. Instead they're counting on a 28,29, and 31 yr old.

My only comment is that Garnett might want to ease up on that tuff guy shit. He need not worry about Hibbert. West was pretty good in the Golden Gloves and will be happy to show him the error of his ways if he presses it.
