Each conference has their top teir teams and their bottom feeders. I dont think either is easier than the other.

I guess it all depends on what type of hockey you like. Some teams are defensive minded and others are offensive pressure teams. It is key to what you like to see whether or not you stick to watching it. I would watch some games this season and then pick a team insead of picking one going in. I am a Pens fan, mainly due to being from the area. But I like wide open hockey, high scoring superstars. I wouldnt last as a devils fan.

good point on those teams possibly moving to Portland, problem is I could see one of those teams going to Seattle before Portland. Just Portlands luck. And I couldn' stand rooting for a team from Seattle.

I really wouldnt choose a team based in them moving, let alone moving to Portland. Even if a team did move soon, which I strongly doubt will happen, I tihnk Gary wants a team in Vegas, and if it went to the Northeast he'd go Seattle.

Buffalo is your best bet.
