We should win, but I think EMU covers the spread. With the exception of Okoloji (Seton Hall/George Mason transfer) every starter is local, and none were recruited by Beilein...(only gives a good team additional motivation, a la Detroit Mercy).


I want us to run the floor for 40 minutes and bounce these bums out of the gym (haven't seen it all season). However, if we come out flat, again (not shooting like we're capable of) and playing lazy D in transition, it'll be a long night.

EMU over Michigan didn't surprise me much. This Michigan team has a lot of work to do at the 4 and 5. Irvin is not a good stretch 4 (being forced into that position with zero production from anyone else) and when zone Ds put that much pressure on our Wings, we're toast, because there just simply isn't a viable option to work the ball into. Compound that with pathetic shooting on the perimeter and it results in a disaster.

If it had not been sacreligious, I would have taken that upset.

With the state that your team is in right now, do you think there is any chance they regroup to play well @ McKale this saturday? We were hoping for a rematch that would be as classic as last year's game at Crisler, but it looks like that is very unlikely right now
