That was impressive. Hamilton fights back from all the penalties and takes the win beating Verstappen. Verstappen takes second followed by Bottas for third and Perez was fourth.

Love the old school tracks where drivers can make the difference. Even though Max tried every trick in the book, Lewis still got him.

Bottas getting a bad start is what cost them the 1-2, not the strategy call.

When he ran Hamilton wide it was one of those moments once again where Hamilton could not have given way and bad things would have happened.

But Hamilton yielded and good things happened.

Just read an interesting take. The Merc engine today was so much better because it was designed and built to last 1500km, not the standard 7000km. So it can produce more power and have greater wear because it doesn't have to last. Like the old days, when engines were just megaton bombs.

Merc may just go ahead and punt the 5 grid places each of the next 3 races and just replace the ICE every race and have Lewis carve through the field like he's playing Gran Turismo on "easy".

That would be hilarious.

well I would like to go to our steward (retroram52) & protest Verstappen's move.
You should have more balls than the inconsistent FIA & give him that 5 second penalty giving me a clean sweep of all 4 positions

Yea, I wish I had pull with FIA but that was definitely a serviceable penalty that somehow they all seemed to miss or decided to ignore.
